What is PMC?

Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a revolutionary material developed and patented by Mitsubishi Materials of Japan, in which tiny particles of pure silver are suspended in an organic binder to create a material that can be worked like modeling clay. I fire PMC pieces in a kiln at 1450F, which burns off the binder and fuses the metal. The result is a solid, pure silver object.

What is Chainmaille?
Chainmaille is a technique of weaving metal rings to create a mesh structure. Originally created and used by men as suits of armor as in King Arthur's knights or the Crusaders, today women use similar weaves to create beautiful jewelry. I use a variety of sterling silver, 14 karat gold filled (much stronger than pure 14K gold) or colored Anodized niobium rings.
